What happens with human organism as a result of alcohol abuseAfter a person has taken alcohol it quickly absorbs in blood. It penetrates in cells and reaches the brains. After alcohol was taken blood vessels begin to dilate and alcohol starts to influence negatively on heart. Alcohol also negatively affects on liver. Liver helps to remove alcohol from human organism. The more a person has drunk the more is the load on liver. Liver can remove from one’s organism 10 ml of pure alcohol per hour. For example, if a person has drunk about half a bottle of beer, three hours later alcohol still could be founded in his or her blood. Alcohol influence on muscles as well. After a person has taken alcoholic drink his organism starts to lose larger amount of water per time unit than it does in usual condition. Human organism consists of water on 72%. That why water loss is very dangerous for it. Even taking small doze of alcohol a person much more slowly react on exogenous irritants and he or she needs more time to make a decision. That is why drunken people more often get in accidents. Large doze of alcohol may cause arms trembling and double vision. A person becomes mentally and emotionally unbalanced. Person cannot appraise events in a right way, and as a result he or she begins to go off the deep end. Being drunk a person can do things he will regret about later, but it is often too late. |
